Kevin's essay about the animal sounds library.

*Kevin's essay is about an article we read in class called "The Calls of the Wild". The article describes how a man named Jeff Rice is creating an animal sounds library in which he is recording sounds of animals in the western part of the United States.

My name is Kevin. I live in Alaska. I know animal sounds for animals by Tanacross. People in a city don’t know those sounds. I think a animal sound library is a good idea because it teaches people sound of animals they don’t know.

If you don’t know what an animal sound is you say the animal you have heard and go to the animal sound library and you can hear that animal.

An animal sounds library is a good idea. It could teach people about animals. There is recordings of scientists who can tell about the animals. It lets people know what an animal sounds like. Park rangers or hunting guiders should know the animals sounds too.

In math I learned how to do borrowing. I learned how to read better. It was not hard. I like the listening center. I learned in math it was hard learning how to borrow for subtracting big numbers. Now it is easy. I like math because it is fun. It is like a game. I am fast at math.
